Alemdara is a collection that centres itself around Turkish mythical symbols traditionally used for protection and safe-keeping. The collection comprises of a selection of dainty necklaces and bracelets, handmade in 18 carat white, rose, and yellow gold, all embellished with diamonds, precious stones or coloured enamel - each bringing with it a form of protection for its wearer. The range of delicate pieces are designed to be worn everyday.Using traditional Turkish techniques, every individual piece is hand-crafted by artisans with generations of experience, for a truly unique finish. Mariella Tandy created Alemdara after her own enamel evil eye bracelet continuously attracted attention. The bracelet was given as a gift of protection by her Turkish mother-in-law whilst she was pregnant.
