CATS BROS is the little brother of Cats Brothers, a woolly collaboration between two experienced knitwear designers, Lindsay McKean and Anna Wilkinson. With a surge in Cats Brothers fans across the pond and growing interest from press, the high street, buyers and shoppers alike, knitwear-founders Anna Wilkinson and Lindsay McKean had no option but to match the demand for these made-to-order garments with a more accessible range. The solution? A cute and colourful diffusion line CATS BROS. CATS BROS debut collection, the CATS BOLL*CKS, calls upon the creative direction of its predecessor line to pay homage to dead rappers and singers of the last 20 years. The clothing and accessories range features familiar faces; Biggy Smalls, TLC, Kris Kross and The Beastie Boys. The BROS tee’s and sweatshirts are hand-illustrated and screen-printed before being beaded and embroidered by the designers themselves in a Hackney studio. This diffusion line was launched a year to the day after it’s big brother label, Cats Brothers.
