ClothSurgeon, Rav Matharu, graduated in 2006 with a First Class Honours degree. He then went on to work for House of Billiam. As Head Designer, where he developed his skills and understanding of the Fashion Industry. His 3 years at the company saw his designs go into stores such as Dover Street Market, Liberty London, 10 Corso Como, United Arrows, and Isetan amongst other great stores in Japan. Now working on Clothsurgeon, developing it with what he has learnt over the years, applying his own personal interests and obsessions into the clothing. Focusing on quality fabrics and production he aims to blur the boundary between Streetwear and High End Mens Fashion. With his love for Vintage Americana, Classic British clothing, Luxury fabrics, and a less is more approach, he creates beautiful wearable garments for the Modern Man. Generically modifying the Mens wardrobe, through details, fabric use and clean silhouettes. Production is done in London, England. Samples are made by the Clothsurgeon from start to finish. Skilled in every step of the making process, with a keen eye for detail. Clothsurgeon has the ability to create any garment and offers a Full Bespoke service. Starting with an initial drawing, to making the desired piece in your chosen fabrics and trims, creating a unique, one off piece for the customer. May it be additional details and fabric choice to an existing silhouette already used by Clothsurgeon or a completely new shape, all is possible.That is another element to the beauty of the brand, along with Seasonal Collections.
