Diemme Footwear is a collaborative effort from Italian footwear manufacturer Calzaturificio Diemme, Norwegian sales and design company Blender Agency, Japanese sales and design company GMT Tokyo, and Swedish distributor MnO International. All Diemme Footwear products are made at the Calzaturificio Diemme factory in Montebelluna, Italy, utilizing Calzaturificio Diemme’s 20 years of experience within the hunting, mountaineering, trekking, safety and military segments, as well as their expertise producing for brands such as Maison Martin Margiela, Chanel, Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Salvatore Ferragamo and cult Japanese brands such as Nonnative and Bedwin & The Heartbreakers. Calzaturificio Diemme was founded by brothers Dennis and Maico Signor in 1992. Dennis first started working in a factory in 1983, at only 13 years of age, producing hunting boots. His passion and curiosity to produce shoes came from his grandfather who worked in the shoe industry for many years at one of the most famous historical Italian factories, Calzaturificio Rondini, and continued repairing shoes in his home throughout his life. The Diemme Footwear collection ranges from sneakers and lighter footwear to hunting and mountaineering boots readapted for city use. The ambition of Diemme Footwear is to produce the highest quality goods with an exceptional level of comfort, with progressive and innovative designs as well as sharply executed takes on classic footwear styles. The leather used is from Italian tanneries as well as imported leathers from world-famous tanneries like Horween Leather, C.F. Stead and Eduard Gallusser AG. Fabrics are from Italian suppliers Morelli Tessuti and Limonta, and imported fabrics from German Sympatex and Swiss Schoeller Textiles AG. All other components are of Italian origin. All parties, from design to suppliers to production, are committed to making a product of the highest quality.
