Lola Hats was born in New York in December 1989, in a small room in the East Village. Shortly after, the brand moves into the Flatiron Building neighborhood and is then permanently located in a huge sunny studio in Bushwick, at the heart of Brooklyn, with stunning views of Manhattan. This area will also serve as an inspiration for Lola Hats creations. One characteristic of the brand is the designer’s enthusiasm for hand-made and old wooden molds. Defined by her cheerful approach to life, her designs are distinguished by colored trims like ribbon or metal buckles.
