This tiny Surrey village, mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, has Saxon origins, a 1500-year-old yew tree and was the setting for the first ever recorded game of cricket to use rules. But the English – like our weather – have always been a little quirky. We like to mix it up a little. We may be the home of Elgar, James Bond and black taxis but we also produced the Beatles, the internet and the Sex Pistols’ God Save the Queen. So what better home for our beautifully made, hand-finished socks, which embody the spirit of Englishness with their classic designs, exquisite quality and bold, funky colourways? We work hard to make sure that our products reflect these values. They are made from Pima cotton, an extremely durable yet soft and absorbent fabric which wicks moisture away from your skin to keep you dry and comfortable. They are elegantly packaged. And most importantly, they are provided with the efficient service and courteous manner you will always enjoy from us at Peper Harow. We very much hope that you will enjoy our products as much as we do.
