Shanghai-born Creative Director Lulu Chang has worked in the fashion and digital world for the past six years. Raised in San Francisco, in 2008 Teen Vogue cited her as “one of San Francisco’s biggest fashion talents.” In 2012 she moved to Los Angeles and founded The Fashion Club, comprised predominately of tailored shirting that was offered in 16 silhouettes. Chang plans to expand into a full women’s ready-to-wear line in 2014. The Fashion Club is sub-culturally inspired and aesthetically independent. Chang’s first memory of fashion was a teenage encounter with a Jenny Holzer for Helmut Lang fragrance ad in a 2001 issue of Purple magazine – included was the phrase "I smell you on my skin." After that, she was hooked.
