Pınar Sondal; born in Pennsylvania USA, studied Architecture at Yildiz Technical University in Istanbul. Worked as an architect in Istanbul for many years before she lost her way in design and started designing jewelry in 2001. In her designs Sondal uses fresh-water pearls, semi-precious stones such as quarts, amethyst, peridot, jade, aquamarine, citrine and onyx. She uses several techniques like metalsmithing combining sterling silver with gold. Mine Ozkaynak; born in Pennsylvania USA, studied Architecture at Istanbul Technical University and Industrial design in Milan as her second master degree. In her accessories designs Özkaynak combines fabric with crystals, ribbons, leather and many different kinds of materials.
