X by Trollbeads takes a revolutionary approach to jewellery design allowing customers to create their own unique bracelet or necklace from a range of high quality silver, bronze, gold and black Rubber X links. The linking mechanism uses an X-shaped bevelled edge connection that allows the links to connect with a simple "twist”, to create bespoke pieces of jewellery secured with one of two locks in silver or bronze. The innovative X links were developed by Trollbeads founder and head designer Lise Aagaard. X by Trollbeads arrives almost four decades after Trollbeads first changed the global landscape of jewellery design with the invention of the bead on bracelet concept. Trollbeads is a part of Danish Design legacy, known for its simplicity, functionality and quality. Design is what drives Trollbeads and it is the designers who create the collection; they use the highest quality material and craftsmanship. It is this diversity that gives the customer the unique experience. They become the designer when they create their own personalized jewellery and they decide which story they want to tell. To this date, more than 60 designers have contributed to the Trollbeads collection. Trollbeads have won international artistic recognition and have been exhibited at Sculpture Objects & Functional Art in Chicago and New York.
