The origin behind Acne Studios' Face motif? Well, it's founder Jonny Johansson's cheeky summation of the Swedish nature: not too warm, but not too unfriendly, either. The rest of the world is a big fan, so the poker-faced chap crops up all over the label's accessories, the Cunov cap included. Rendered in a neon hue, it's stamped on a canvas of sturdy candy-striped cotton and ready for languid afternoons in town – smile optional, but inevitable.
Swedish design collective ACNE was founded in 1997 by Jonny Johansson. Initially specialising in jeans the brand now is a byword for modern classics infused with Scandinavian cool as seen in the likes of Stella and Elle.
