Alighieri founder Rosh Mahtani celebrates the 11th sign of the zodiac, Aquarius, with this 24kt gold-plated sterling-silver ring. It's crafted to a textured band with a debossed pattern representing the winter constellation's symbol – the water carrier, Ganymede, who according to mythology was whisked away by Zeus to the heavens, where he serves as cupbearer to the gods.
Founded in 2014, Alighieri creates jewellery inspired by Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy’. Its ‘Modern Heirlooms’ are all handcrafted in London. Core pieces are cast in recycled bronze before being plated in gold, or made in solid sterling silver, supplied by certified members of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
