Alighieri's 24kt gold-plated sterling-silver Sagittarius ring reflects founder and Queen Elizabeth II award-winner Rosh Mahtani's ongoing partnership with artisans in London's historic jewellery district Hatton Garden. It's handmade using a lost-wax casting technique with a textured band and a debossed archer motif, reflecting the fire sign's optimistic and freedom-loving nature.
Founded in 2014, Alighieri creates jewellery inspired by Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy’. Its ‘Modern Heirlooms’ are all handcrafted in London. Core pieces are cast in recycled bronze before being plated in gold, or made in solid sterling silver, supplied by certified members of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
