For her latest jewellery collection at Alighieri, Rosh Mahtani looks up to the night's sky to glean her inspiration. Enter: The Burning Stream in the Sky pendant necklace, a flat cable-chain piece with a striking piece of 24-carat yellow gold-plated bronze matter at its heart. Cast in London's Hatton Garden, it nods to the work of Italian poet, writer and philosopher, Dante Alighieri (after whom the brand is known).
Founded in 2014, Alighieri creates jewellery inspired by Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy’. Its ‘Modern Heirlooms’ are all handcrafted in London. Core pieces are cast in recycled bronze before being plated in gold, or made in solid sterling silver, supplied by certified members of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
