The Calliope Pearl And 24kt Gold-Plated Earrings

Alighieri’s The Calliope earrings are shaped with a 24kt gold-plated bronze frame and glossy freshwater pearls, citing the subjects of light, new beginnings and sunshine from the canto of purgatory from the 14th century epic poem Divine Comedy. They’re handmade in London and feature simple post-back fastenings.

Founded in 2014, Alighieri creates jewellery inspired by Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy’. Its ‘Modern Heirlooms’ are all handcrafted in London. Core pieces are cast in recycled bronze before being plated in gold, or made in solid sterling silver, supplied by certified members of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
