The Florentine 24kt Gold-Plated Ring

Alighieri’s gold The Florentine ring is inspired by Dante Alighieri's 14th-century epic poem Divine Comedy and styled as one of the looks for Christy Turlington Burns in MATCHESFASHION's debut campaign, Stories of Imagination. It's handcrafted in the label's London studio from bronze, then plated in 24kt gold and shaped with a subtle distressed open frame.

Founded in 2014, Alighieri creates jewellery inspired by Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy’. Its ‘Modern Heirlooms’ are all handcrafted in London. Core pieces are cast in recycled bronze before being plated in gold, or made in solid sterling silver, supplied by certified members of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
