The abstract pendant falling from Alighieri's The Light Years necklace is inspired by the glittering lights that orbit and dart across Dante's path in the epic poem, Divine Comedy. It's handmade in London's Hatton Garden from 24kt gold-plated bronze with a slender box chain and a spring clasp that fastens at various lengths.
Founded in 2014, Alighieri creates jewellery inspired by Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy’. Its ‘Modern Heirlooms’ are all handcrafted in London. Core pieces are cast in recycled bronze before being plated in gold, or made in solid sterling silver, supplied by certified members of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
