Alighieri calls its jewelry 'modern heirlooms' - each piece is created to travel with you wherever you go. Inspired by Dante's 'Paradise' poem, 'The Lustre of the Moon' necklace is crafted from recycled silver and designed to "bring light and clarity" at night. It has a long fine chain and a single freshwater pearl floating at the end.
Founded in 2014, Alighieri creates jewellery inspired by Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy’. Its ‘Modern Heirlooms’ are all handcrafted in London. Core pieces are cast in recycled bronze before being plated in gold, or made in solid sterling silver, supplied by certified members of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
'Made with recycled silver. Recycled material reduces waste in the short term and uses fewer natural resources than virgin material.'
