Inspired by Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy (that’s a long Italian narrative poem, in case you didn’t know), London-based – Hatton Garden, to be exact – Alighieri was thought up when founder Rosh Mahtani looked for solace in Dante’s work. The result? Pieces like The Moon Fever bracelet. Crafted in 24ct gold-plated bronze, it’s complete with dangling freshwater cornflake pearl and a gilded ball which represent the serenity of the first circle of Paradise from Dante's work.
Founded in 2014, Alighieri creates jewellery inspired by Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy’. Its ‘Modern Heirlooms’ are all handcrafted in London. Core pieces are cast in recycled bronze before being plated in gold, or made in solid sterling silver, supplied by certified members of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
