These 24kt gold-plated The Morning Hour earrings express Alighieri founder Rosh Mahtani’s preoccupation with Dante’s The Divine Comedy by echoing Canto I of Inferno, which is set in the early hours when the sun begins to rise: ‘The time was the beginning of the morning, And up the sun was mounting with those stars’. They’re handcrafted in Hatton Garden, London with tiny textured hoops which are finished with postback fastenings. Wear them as a poetic finishing touch to a simple top.

Founded in 2014, Alighieri creates jewellery inspired by Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy’. Its ‘Modern Heirlooms’ are all handcrafted in London.
