Usually taking inspiration from the 14th-century epic poem Dante’s Inferno, Alighieri’s latest collection was informed by a poem of a different nature. Named after T.S Eliot’s post-war masterpiece of the name same, The Wasteland earrings are crafted from 24ct gold-plated bronze in Hatton Garden, London. Their irregular, asymmetric form is twisted and knotted to create an antiqued effect. Pair yours with the matching ring.
Founded in 2014, Alighieri creates jewellery inspired by Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy’. Its ‘Modern Heirlooms’ are all handcrafted in London. Core pieces are cast in recycled bronze before being plated in gold, or made in solid sterling silver, supplied by certified members of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
