Organic cotton is cultivated and harvested from non-genetically modified plants, without the use of chemical fertilisers and pesticides. Made from used plastic bottles, recycled polyester yarn helps reduce waste products and lessens the use of oil-based raw materials. The leather used has undergone a chrome-free tanning process, which means that a hide is converted to soft and supple leather using vegetable or synthetic extracts instead of chromium sulphate.
