Founded in 2016 by Argentinean-born fashion photographer-turned-designer Josefina A. Theo, Casa Raki is inspired by her childhood on the Uruguayan coast. That’s why the brand's collections are replete with sustainably-made swimwear and versatile layers for sunseekers – like the Clementina shorts, for example. Spun up from breathable organic linen, they’re shaped into a tailored high-rise silhouette with pressed pleats at the front and shaping darts at the back.
Casa Raki uses certified organic and recycled materials to create swimwear and airy separates, inspired by founder Josefina Alazraki’s childhood in Uruguay, and produced in a women-run factory in Portugal. Classic, minimal designs ensure a timelessness to each piece, in keeping with the brand’s commitment to sustainability.
'Made with 100% organic linen. Linen is made from the fibres of the flax plant. Flax is resilient and can grow in poor soil, using less water than cotton to produce.'
