Growing up on the idyllic coast of Punta Del Este, Uruguay, photographer-turned-designer Josefina A. Theo dreams up clothing to accompany you on your beachside holidays. A case in point? Casa Raki’s Delfina dress. Spun from one of the most sustainable materials to date: organic linen; this mini is light and breezy to keep you cool on scorching-hot days. Shaped with a minimal tiered silhouette, it’s one to don when exploring the sites or for ocean-view dinners.
Casa Raki uses certified organic and recycled materials to create swimwear and airy separates, inspired by founder Josefina Alazraki’s childhood in Uruguay, and produced in a women-run factory in Portugal. Classic, minimal designs ensure a timelessness to each piece, in keeping with the brand’s commitment to sustainability.
'Made with 100% organic linen. Organic linen is made from the fibres of the flax plant. Flax is resilient and can grow in poor soil, using less water than cotton to produce. Organic linen is grown without harmful fertilisers, insectices and pesticides.'
