Who could fail to think of palm-fringed beaches, balmy evenings and sandy toes when looking at the Emilia shorts from Casa Raki? Not us, that’s for sure. It’s hardly surprising this organic-linen number brings holidays to mind, the brand’s founder Josefina A. Theo draws inspiration from her childhood spent on the Uruguayan coast. We think the high-rise silhouette and relaxed fit lend themselves to a pairing with a strapless top.
Casa Raki uses certified organic and recycled materials to create swimwear and airy separates, inspired by founder Josefina Alazraki’s childhood in Uruguay, and produced in a women-run factory in Portugal. Classic, minimal designs ensure a timelessness to each piece, in keeping with the brand’s commitment to sustainability.
'Made with 100% linen. Linen is made from the fibres of the flax plant. Flax is resilient and can grow in poor soil, using less water than cotton to produce.'
