Founded in 2016 by Josefina A. Theo, Casa Raki is inspired by her childhood on the Uruguayan coast in Punta del Este. For this reason, the brand's collections are replete with sustainably-made swimwear and versatile layers – like the Nicola top, for instance. Shaped into a loose-fitting silhouette, this lightweight piece is spun up from soft organic cotton, then fastened with two buttons and a slim tie at the top. It’s finished with a square neckline and all-over textured weave.
Casa Raki uses certified organic and recycled materials to create swimwear and airy separates, inspired by founder Josefina Alazraki’s childhood in Uruguay, and produced in a women-run factory in Portugal. Classic, minimal designs ensure a timelessness to each piece, in keeping with the brand’s commitment to sustainability.
'Made with 100% organic cotton. Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides and fertilisers, uses less water and emits up to 46% less greenhouse gas than non-organic.'
