Since taking the helm at Chloé, Uruguay-born, New York-based designer Gabriela Hearst has put her own environmentally conscious stamp on the brand’s accessories. The result? New styles like the Malou wallet. Sculpted from leather – sustainably sourced, of course – it’s embellished with tubular ties to highlight the label’s craftsmanship and a new signature: medals in pale gold brass and wood (which is a key new material in the latest collection).
Founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion, Chloé upended the formal traditions of couture fashion with its bohemian aesthetic. Under icons including Karl Lagerfeld, and now Creative Director, Chemena Kamali, it continues to draw on this rich heritage to appeal to modern generations of Chloé girls, drawn to its free-spirited femininity.
