Once upon a time, the highly coveted Parisian fashion scene was interrupted by a trailblazing Egyptian designer, Gaby Aghion. The designer founded Chloé and in doing so, utilised the same standards of artisan craftsmanship with a new bohemian influence. For SS22, the French brand remains true to these 1952 roots – cue: the Malou wallet. Named after a renowned warrior, it’s crafted in smooth leather to a classic, flap-front silhouette and adorned with two round medallions.
Founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion, Chloé upended the formal traditions of couture fashion with its bohemian aesthetic. Under icons including Karl Lagerfeld, and now Creative Director, Chemena Kamali, it continues to draw on this rich heritage to appeal to modern generations of Chloé girls, drawn to its free-spirited femininity.
