Edge of Ember pays homage to the ancient symbol of protection for its latest piece: the evil eye. While it started life in Greece, these iterations of the symbol were dreamt up in London and rendered in 18-carat yellow gold-plated vermeil recycled sterling silver to create the Reflect huggie earrings – so they’re sustainable too. Sparkling at the centre of each one, an azure-hued topaz stone glints in the light as though it’s winking.
Inspired by the artisan workshops she discovered while travelling around Asia, Lynette Ong’s mission was to create fine jewellery in a conscious world. Edge of Ember uses ethically-sourced gemstones, lab-grown diamonds, recycled silver and gold and is 100% carbon neutral.
'Made with 100% recycled silver. Recycled material reduces waste in the short term and uses fewer natural resources than virgin material.'
