Erdem draws inspiration from Susan Sontag's historical novel The Volcano Lover (1992), a fictionalised account of the life of 18th-century beauty Emma Hamilton, to create this white Marlyn dress. It's shaped from crepe with puffed sleeves and a banded waist accented by black ribbons, then falls to a tiered maxi hem.
London based designer Erdem Moralioglu’s philosophy is to focus on the silhouette, proportions and timeless styling. His pieces feature in the publications like Grazia and Elle.
