In typical fashion, Erdem Moralıoğlu had two English eccentrics pinned to his mood board for his eponymous brand’s SS22 collection (coincidentally, its 15th anniversary). Referencing Edith Sitwell and Ottoline Morrell, the British designer dreamt up yesteryear-inspired pieces like the Nell shirt. It’s spun from a cotton blend deftly embroidered with broderie anglaise – a nod to Morrell’s penchant for Edwardian fashion.
London based designer Erdem Moralioglu’s philosophy is to focus on the silhouette, proportions and timeless styling. His pieces feature in the publications like Grazia and Elle.
