"A Tribute to Karl" honors Karl Lagerfeld’s legacy through his most iconic style: the white shirt. This limited-edition design has been customized by stylist Carine Roitfeld, and only 77 pieces are available worldwide. It includes signature details like a high stand collar and thick cuffs, and has been artfully crafted using the finest quality cotton poplin. “I'm a Virgo, as was Karl; Virgos inherently feel that everything needs to have a reason behind it," explains Roitfeld. "I wanted my shirt to have a corset made with strong boning, and then I opened one side of the collar so it’s as if you ripped it. Karl liked tight shirts and high collars, but I love an open neckline. The result is punk meets couture.” All proceeds from the sale of this shirt will be donated to “Sauver la Vie,” a charity that funds medical research at the Paris Descartes University and which Karl supported for many years.
