Lemaire looks to traditional menswear tailoring to create this taupe-grey blazer, which is cut to a boxy oversized fit. It’s crafted from wool tweed for a textured handle and fits to a single-breasted silhouette with slender notched lapels that extend to a low-button stance to give an elongated effect to the frame, fitted with jetted pockets.
The Lemaire wardrobe is designed to be modular, with supple silhouettes and a soft colour palette allowing outfits to be restyled and accented over time. Collections are produced in Europe, Turkey and Morocco. Bags and leather goods are made in Spain and Italy, where a collaborative effort with artisans has brought novel approaches to age-old techniques.
