First designed in the 1970s, New Balance puts a fresh take on its signature Comp 100 trainers by rendering them in swathes of plush blue suede. Set atop a cushiony rubber midsole, they’re shaped to a low-top silhouette that’s accented with the label’s N monogram and have logo prints at the tongue, heel and insole.
A classic on the sportswear scene that started out selling arch supports to police officers and waiters in the early 1900s, New Balance has re-emerged as a fashion must-have in recent years and, with stylish collaborations from J.Crew to Stone Island, the iconic sneakers are going nowhere.
