Patagonia understands that everything it makes has an impact on planet Earth, so why not try to minimise its carbon footprint? The Baggies shorts are the Cali brand's latest foray into eco-conscious fabric innovation, complete with shell crafted with recycled nylon sourced from discards from weaving mills (cool, right?). Not only are they perfect for both in and out of the water, but they're also signed off with the Mount Fitz Roy logo at the front.
Patagonia started small, making tools for climbers. Now, it makes clothes for outdoor adventures from trail-running to skiing and uses its voice to campaign for the protection of nature. Patagonia itself has taken impressive steps to reduce its environmental impact and set a goal for complete carbon neutrality by 2025.
'Made with recycled nylon. Recycled material reduces waste in the short term and uses fewer natural resources than virgin material.'
