Do these shoes look vaguely familiar? Well, there's a reason for that; Peterson Stoop has taken the iconic silhouette of Nike's classic Cortez trainers and reimagined them, trimming this pair with a wavy vegetable-tanned leather storm welt and setting them on a heightened cork sole. Launched by Jelske Peterson and Jarah Stoop in 2016 as a way of combatting waste in the footwear world, the label creates each of its styles from vintage trainers to save them from landfill. Impressed? Us too.
