For SS22, Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough of Proenza Schouler were inspired by travel, versatility and reinvention – but their first port of call? Well, according to Vogue, it was to rethink the suit. We suppose that’s where this cropped jacket comes in; crafted in cotton with an all-over tweed texture and six front pockets, it’s further detailed with frayed trims. The designers spoke on the collection, stating “They’re joyful clothes to step out in.” and who doesn’t need that?
Proenza Schouler was founded in New York by designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. Their work is inspired by contemporary art and youth culture and is combined with an emphasis on tailoring and the use of custom developed fabrics.
