Cynthia Recycled And Organic Cotton-Blend Denim Jeans

£65

Product Details

Since Reformation made its journey across the pond to us here in the UK, more of its fans can enjoy a slice of its snap-worthy, sustainable style. A particularly tempting piece, the straight-leg Cynthia jeans are made from a blend of recycled and organic cotton – grown in a way that doesn’t use pesticides that have an adverse effect on Planet Earth. Doused in a faded wash, they call for an oversized shirt – a pre-loved one, of course.

  • 40% recycled cotton, 43% lyocell, 17% organic cotton

REFORMATION

Long before it became fashionable, Reformation made sustainability cool, with limited collections of dresses, ethically-made in LA with ‘deadstock’ material. They’re still leading change, promising to be climate positive by 2025.

'Made with 17% organic, 40% recycled cotton and 43% lyocell. Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides and fertilisers, uses less water and emits up to 46% less greenhouse gas than non-organic. Recycled cotton reduces waste, uses fewer natural resources and has a lower environmental impact. Lyocell is made from plant cellulose. While chemicals are used in its production, it is a closed-loop process, meaning that chemicals can be extracted and waste water reused.'
