Denim tends to drink up an alarming amount of water during production, so Reformation is working to make sure its Kealy jeans are kinder on the planet. To that end, the L.A. label spins this high-rise style from a combination of cotton and lyocell (which has a closed-loop production process meaning 99% of the non-toxic solvent is reused). We’d even go as far as to suggest you double up the denim and don one of the brand’s jackets.
Long before it became fashionable, Reformation made sustainability cool, with limited collections of dresses, ethically-made in LA with ‘deadstock’ material. They’re still leading change, promising to be climate positive by 2025.
