Jeane Relaxed-Fit Knitted Cardigan

Cardigans grew in popularity in the 19th century, when the Earl of Cardigan's favourite type of knitwear was taken on by his supporters. Seems a far cry from the playful clothing designs of Australian brand SIR. But, hey, we love knowing the context behind our favourite pieces. The Jeane version comes with an all-over chunky purl knit and pearlescent buttons – a slight update from the 19th century. But we think that's definitely a good thing.
