If we were to break down the reasons behind STINE GOYA’s success, playful patterns and colourful palettes are sure to spring to mind. However, that doesn’t mean the Danish label can’t revert back to its minimal, Scandinavian roots, too – just look at the Jesabelle trousers from its latest collection. Woven in stretch-imbued fabric, the pair are cut to a high-rise silhouette with wide legs, expertly tailored with knife pleats and swathed in a traditional plaid pattern.
Danish designer Stine Goya has carved a niche with her colourful rejection of the familiar tropes of tasteful Scandinavian minimalism, underpinned by flattering cuts and high-quality fabrics. The brand has implemented strategies for environmental and social responsibility, in line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, with an ambition to use 90% recycled or more sustainable materials across its whole collection by 2025.
