Tibi’s khaki-green shorts are a fresh take on the label’s signature Stella silhouette, which is characterised by the high-rise double waistband. They’re made from cotton drill with a detachable silver-buckled belt that cinches the pleated front, accentuating the relaxed fit of the wide legs.
Having founded Tibi in Hong Kong in 1997, designer Amy Smilovic returned to her New York roots in 2000 and set up her studio in a SoHo loft. The label’s eye-catching prints and unexpected colour combinations epitomise Manhattan cool.
