Lisa King creates her prints in her London studio. Her unique style of print is instantly recognisable and is richly researched with strong influences from her Thai and Indonesian background. Lisa meticulously studies her chosen themes, developing prints through a medium of hand drawing, painting and collage whilst playing with ideas of dichotomy and deconstruction. The result is a exploration and manifestation of stories played out in print, each scarf having a personal connection to Lisa herself. The silk, cashmere and modal scarves are printed and hand finished in England and Italy.
