Danish-born London-based designer Malene Oddershede Bach creates feminine clothing with subtle tomboy undertones. With slip dresses, knitwear, gowns and simple jersey pieces featuring throughout her collections – the designer offers both wardrobe essentials and red carpet showpieces. Recent collections feature delicate floral embroidery, ruffles, pleats and fluid forms. Her experimentation with a range of different fabrics and clean colour palettes make for a diverse and very wearable collection. Accessories and footwear are also key to the designer’s collections, for SS16 and previous seasons, Malene has collaborated with Gold Dot to create bold and edgy platform heels. In addition, sunglasses and leather goods are incorporated. Malene has evolved since being hand-picked and awarded ‘Ones to Watch’, she has acquired a loyal industry fan-base on her professional journey and has been featured in Vogue, ELLE, Marie Claire and Grazia.
