At its freshest, monochrome dressing is less about head-to-toe, swatch-perfect outfits and more about exploration of colour nuance. An uninterrupted line created by common and proximate shades, makes for stronger and more-polished silhouettes, yet affords a looser approach to mixing textures and cuts; call it a formula for the non-formulaic.
