Acne Studios was launched as a unisex denim range in 1996 by the Stockholm-based graphics, advertising and production collective that is also responsible for the inspirational publication Acne Paper. Under the creative direction of Jonny Johansson, the line has grown into an internationally recognised luxury brand, with each collection encapsulating that essential something that keeps Swedish design at the forefront of fashion.
Initially specialising in jeans, Swedish multi-disciplinary fashion house Acne Studios is now a byword for modern classics infused with Scandinavian cool, including its much-imitated fringed scarf.
