The origin behind Acne Studios' Face motif? Well, it's founder Jonny Johansson's cheeky summation of Swedish nature: not too warm, but not too unfriendly, either. The rest of the world is a big fan, so the poker-faced chap crops up all over the label's accessories, the Cunov cap included. Rendered in a faded wash, it's stamped on a canvas of sturdy cotton and ready for languid afternoons in town – smile optional but inevitable.
Initially specialising in jeans, Swedish multi-disciplinary fashion house Acne Studios is now a byword for modern classics infused with Scandinavian cool, including its much-imitated fringed scarf.
