Acne Studios’ beige suit jacket echoes Jonny Johansson’s affinity for shape and form, cut to an oversized single-breasted silhouette with structured padded shoulders. It’s crafted from hemp-blend fil-á-fil with slender notched lapels and a hem vent accentuates the relaxed drape. Note the wooden-effect buttons which nod to the label’s off-kilter aesthetic.
Swedish design collective ACNE was founded in 1997 by Jonny Johansson. Initially specialising in jeans the brand now is a byword for modern classics infused with Scandinavian cool as seen in the likes of Stella and Elle.
''Made with 54% hemp and 25% linen. Hemp fibre is derived from the stems of the hemp plant, then woven into thread. Hemp grows easily without herbicides or pesticides, and requires relatively little water and land to cultivate. Linen is made from the fibres of the flax plant. Flax is resilient and can grow in poor soil, using less water than cotton to produce.'
