Since its relaunch in 2003 by denim guru Jerone Dahan (the man behind Seven For All Mankind and Citizens of Humanity), AGOLDE has become known for its experimental styles. The Broken Waistband shorts are a case in point. Crafted from organic cotton and shaped to a regular fit, they’re cut to a high-rise silhouette that’s topped with an asymmetric, cut-out waistband before being signed off with contrast stitching and branded hardware.
Los Angeles-based AGOLDE defines itself as a fashion-forward denim label, experimental in both approach and design. Part of the same family as Citizens of Humanity and GOLDSIGN, the AGOLDE design collective focuses on sustainability and comfort, to create jeans that are modern interpretations of classic styles.
'Made with at least 50% organic cotton. Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers, uses less water and emits less greenhouse gas than non-organic.'
