Relaunched in 2003 by denim connoisseur Jerone Dahan (the man behind 7 For All Mankind and Citizens of Humanity), AGOLDE has an eye for protecting the environment along with acutely precise cuts. Proof? The Kye jeans. Crafted from planet-positive organic cotton (which requires less water and energy during production than traditional cotton), they’re fashioned to a classic five-pocket construction and settle just above the hips before falling to a straight-leg silhouette.
Los Angeles-based AGOLDE defines itself as a fashion-forward denim label, experimental in both approach and design. Part of the same family as Citizens of Humanity and GOLDSIGN, the AGOLDE design collective focuses on sustainability and comfort, to create jeans that are modern interpretations of classic styles.
'Made with 59% organic cotton. Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides and fertilisers, uses less water and emits up to 46% less greenhouse gas than non-organic.'
