Relaunched in 2003 by denim connoisseur Jerone Dahan (the man behind Seven For All Mankind and Citizens of Humanity), AGOLDE has an eye for the environment as well as great cuts. Proof? The Kye jeans. Crafted from stretchy denim imbued with organic cotton (which requires less water and energy during production than standard cotton), they’re shaped to a regular fit and cut to a mid-rise silhouette that falls into versatile straight legs.
Los Angeles-based AGOLDE defines itself as a fashion-forward denim label, experimental in both approach and design. Part of the same family as Citizens of Humanity and GOLDSIGN, the AGOLDE design collective focuses on sustainability and comfort, to create jeans that are modern interpretations of classic styles.
As the sustainable fashion movement gathers pace, we’re shining a light on the individual pieces with eco credentials, whether that’s lower-impact natural fabrics like linen, lyocell and organic cotton, recycled fibres, or more planet-friendly manufacturing techniques. If it’s greener, it’s here.
